John Reckenbeil was born in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey but has been a resident of the Upstate for over 25 years. He attended the University of South Carolina, Spartanburg where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1996 before attending Oklahoma City University School of Law where he obtained his Juris Doctor in 2000.
